Book Fair – Donate a Book That Delights and Helps

Join the 6th edition of the popular charity event Book Fair, which once again connects the love of books with helping those who need it most.

Books and board games you no longer use at home can find new owners – children, young people, or families from disadvantaged backgrounds. All donated items will be offered at symbolic prices during the fair, and the full proceeds will be used to support children from socially vulnerable families, organize summer camps, and purchase toys for children’s centers.

When and where?

• Saturday, 21 March
• 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Europa Shopping Center Banská Bystrica

From 1 to 13 March, book and game collection points are available at various locations in Banská Bystrica and nearby villages. Volunteers will sort and prepare all donated items for the fair.

What can you look forward to?

• a wide selection of books and board games for symbolic prices
• accompanying program
• presentation by the Mikuláš Kováč Library
• discussions with authors Emília Gondorová and Juraj Červenák
• competitions and activities for visitors
• info corner of the library

The event is organized by the civic association EK Energy, co-organized by the Erika Karová Foundation, and supported by financial contributions from the City of Banská Bystrica.
